Our city is a strong economic city, but mainly rely on foreign energy input, energy supply is relatively insufficient, the current city suffered from snow and rain disaster, to the coal, electricity and oil cloud has a great impact, our city government has taken a series of measures to protect the majority of people's life energy, but also bear a lot of economic losses. Saving energy is not only an inevitable choice to reduce costs, increase benefits, improve the environment and improve competitiveness, but also a long-term solution to ensure national economic security and achieve sustainable social development. On the occasion of the Spring Festival of 2008, we propose the following initiatives to all sectors of the community:
First, we must constantly enhance the awareness of energy conservation, and gradually form a good social atmosphere of "wasting energy is shameful, saving energy is glorious".
Second, we should actively implement the energy conservation policies of governments at all levels, learn and publicize and consciously abide by the "Energy Conservation Law" and other energy conservation laws and standards.

We should actively develop and apply advanced energy-saving technologies and products, and persist in promoting survival and development through energy conservation and consumption reduction.
Fourth, energy conservation should start from little by little, start from the small things around, start from the details of the behavior. For example, promote the use of energy-saving household appliances, turn off household power at will, buy and use small-displacement cars, use green lighting products, summer air and sky temperatures above 26 ° C, winter air conditioning temperatures below 20 ° C and so on.
Fifth, let us actively respond to the energy-saving initiative, starting from ourselves, do a good job of saving electricity, coal, street oil, with concrete actions to support disaster relief, and jointly make new contributions to the sound and rapid economic and social development.
